New to the forums, long time casual user!
I've been digitizing my old mix tapes and have come across an issue in saving the tracks (for which I'm seeking guidance):
1. Each tape side as an album with each side being a single track (since it's a mix)
2. I've added a fade-in and fade-out to each (fade-in to gradually build into the mix and fade-out because the music gets cut off by the end of the tape)
3. I've added fade markers (green/red flags) of about 5s on each end
4. I save the track
5. I then play the track on a media player (e.g., QuickTime), but the fade in/out are not implemented.
- it's most obvious with the fade-out, as if the marker was pushed to the end of the track (and no fade-out captured - because the length/duration of the track remains the same)
I don't recall ever encountering this before and I could not find any topic herein that covered something related to this. If I missed it please direct me accordingly, else any assistance/guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thx in advance.
Hi,
Can you send me a screenshot of VinylStudio's Split Tracks window for the album in question please? You can send it here:

Thanks.
Here is a screenshot of the entire two tracks in a single recording. I've also attached a close up of the fade-in/fade-out where I want to split the tracks (and cut out some dead space in between. Last I've added a close up of the fade-out of the latter track for reference.
Please note when I took the exported Flac files, imported into VinylStudio and then applied fade-in/out on the individual tracks the fade-in/outs took effect.
Hi,
Thanks for the screenshots, they look fine.
Could you email me? I'd like to collect some files from you:
