Title: Lost Albums
Post by: Indy33 on February 01, 2025, 12:31:19 AM
I deleted some files related to a different collection. Now I only see 6 albums in the drop down list. But my mcf file seems show all my albums. I attached my "Second_Collection.mcf".

Can you help?

Rick

Hi,

I'm not quite sure what the question is.  All I know is that the .mcf file you sent me contains 94 albums, all present and correct (although from what you say, the recordings themselves might not be).

We strongly recommend *not* manually deleting or moving files managed by VinylStudio.  Instead, use the facilities built into the program.

When I load the mcf file (Collection 2) that I attached, VS in the drop down listing only show 6 albums, not 94.

Yeah I should have used VS to delete the first collection, but not thinking I thought after several weeks it would be OK to delete manually.

How do I get VS to see all 94 albums in the attached mcf file??? All the music files are present and have not moved them for collection 2.

BTW, I did move several albums from collection 1 to collection 2 several weeks ago. Does collection 2 not stand on it's own without the files from collection 1?

Thanks!

Rick

My best guess is that you have a filter set.  You can click on where it says 'Filtered' and clear it.
