Subfolders for collection

It looks like all of the files for a collection go into one folder. Is there any way to create a subfolder for each album?

Yes, just prefix 'When saving tracks, name them as'  with [Album Title] \ (including the slash) in the settings / preferences dialog.

I took that to mean the saved tracks, not the raw recorded tracks.

Oh I see, sorry.  Yes, all 'raw' recordings go into the same folder (one per collection).  Why does this matter to you?

The way the recorded files are named, they all start with the artist's name. If you have several albums by "various," the file names will all start with "various." This is a minor nuisance.

OK, but why are you interested in the raw files in the first place?  VinylStudio's view of the world is that these are managed for you.

• I'm the kind of person who always likes to look under the bonnet.
• I wanted to snag a copy of one of those files and tuck it away for safekeeping while I made a second attempt at recording it.
• I wanted to know how big the files were.

But basically you are right
