fixing track order when side two is side one and vice versa

Hi Paul,
I recorded side one as side two and vice versa. I know I can fix the track order once exported to iTunes. But is there any way to fix it with VS? Moving the track names up and down the list doesn't physically alter their place on the album side. Must I resort to cut and paste? Thanks!

Hi,

There are two ways of tackling this:

1.  With VinylStudio closed down, rename the 'raw' recordings so that side1 is side2 and vice-versa.  Do this before you scan for clicks and you may need to regenerate the waveform display (right-click in the waveform display and select 'Regenerate Waveform Display').

2.  To move a track within an album side, drag it in the list while holding down the Shift key.

Method (1) is probably best as you end up with the tracks in the right order in iTunes.
