Lost Data after Editing

Hi,

Just recorded an album after obtaining details on Discogs. Prior to splitting tracks etc. I edited the album details changing the album title to "ZZ Top's First Album" from First Album" then  went to Split tracks where i get message Album has not been recorded and the file no longer exists in folder. Is this a bug or does editing album details have to be carried out before recording?

Hi,

No, you can change it any time (except while recording is actually in progress).  Specifically, I edited the album title from the Record window and then went to Split Tracks.

I can't reproduce this though, and I've tried to follow the same steps you did.  It would be interesting to change the album title back and see if your recordings reappear (which would indicate that VinylStudio didn't rename the files, for some reason).
