One file versus a file for each side

Any advantages/disadvantages to recording an LP to one file versus one file for each side?

Hi,

The main advantage of recording as one file is that when you come to do audio cleanup work (such as declicking), you only have to do it once per album and not for each side.  Other than that, it makes little difference.

If you have V8.6.1 for Macintosh, please be aware that recording as one file currently has a bug in it so please avoid using it until we issue an update, which we will do in the next day or two.
