re-recording 1 track ??

recorded an album, both sides, but during last song of side 2, turntable got "bumped", so I'd like to re-record ONLY the last song on side 2. I realize I could record it as side 3 and just use the track listing/separation to fix it as far as the end result, but having a side 3 just looks ....sloppy I guess.

Also, for possible future problems, like a skip in an earlier song that I think would be better 2nd time around, is there a better method?

Sorry, no.  VinylStudio (deliberately) does not / cannot edit your recorded files directly.
