Menu items availability differs when recording

When recording it is possible to do other things, for instance, Edit Album Notes and Edit Album Details and Album Art. Edit Album Notes is available directly from the Menu, but not Edit Album Details and Album Art, because it is greyed out. But Album Details can be edited, if you change the Active window to Split tracks, there you can click the Edit Album Details. And if you look at the menu item Album/Edit Album Details and Album Art it is not greyed out!
I would be grateful if you could make both menu items available directly when recording.
Or do you have a reason for the difference?
