Check Level Meters

While watching the recording level meters I noticed that it was going into the RED, but the number at the top was not turning red until it goes much higher. So if I walk away and come back I'm not going to know if the volume went into the red.

Also the slider disappears as soon as I try to move it. I can click on it and it still there, just when I start moving it, that's when it goes away. Then it comes back when I release left mouse button

Hi,

The level meters should a red portion when the signal level is approaching maximum but has not yet reached it.  When clipping occurs, they flash all-red.  Also, there's a 'clips' counter there which you might find useful.

As for the slider disappearing, that's a strange one, I've never heard of that before.  I guess you can watch the number changing underneath it as you drag it.
