Click removal thoughts

Since I just upgraded to premium, I feel I deserve one more inane thought about digitizing LPs

I notice when doing a click scan that even with very conservative scan settings vinylstudio always detects way, way, way, more clicks than I hear when listening to the rip.

So I wonder, is vinylstudio trying to fix these inaudible (to my ears) clicks and therefore stepping on the rip unnecessarily?

If so, should there be an "amplitude" threshold for click repair?  If it is inaudible, we shouldn't step on the rip?
