VS Pro old and new PC

I want to upgrade to V.S. Pro. Have had Standard version since about 2010. Not long ago I wanted advice about transferring V.S.to my new PC. You very kindly sent me a link, for a separate copy of the program. I have tried from backup on external hard drive to move my Recordings and Albums to new 64 bit PC without any success. Used a memory stick but V.S does not seem to recognise the files. I do not really know how to move them into V.S. Would I have to pay for Pro version twice? I can only connect my sound system to one PC at a time but I still use my old PC. Please advise. I am quite computer savvy but my technical knowledge is not that great.

In your case, you would:

1.  Copy albums from your old machine to a new collection on the USB stick

2.  Copy albums from that collection to w new collection on your new machine

You don't need to buy a second copy
