Issues with v10.0.2 for Mac upgrade

I just upgraded my version of VinylStudio to the new 10.0.2 version for Mac and it will not record. All I get is a high pitch squeal/feedback sound. The only change I have made to my working environment is the software upgrade. The rest of the physical setup is the same as it always has been. I have tried numerous different LP's with the same results. I have been using VinylStudio for years and have never encountered any issues until now.

Nope. High Sierra v10.13.6.

I managed to get it worked out, though. I changed the recording format to ALAC (Apple Lossless) format in Recording Options. In my previous version of VinylStudio I was using AIFF format. All is as it should be now.
